An Easy Hike to the Lower Emerald Pool in Zion National Park

An Easy Hike to the Lower Emerald Pool in Zion National Park

This short video is a hike to the Lower Emerald Pool in Zion National Park. This is an easy .6 mile hike in one direction. If you want to connect with the Middle Emerald Pool Trail, it will make it a moderate 1.6 mile loop.

The trail is paved to the pool, which is both good and bad. Being located within a very popular National Park, the fact that it is paved makes it easier to walk their, especially with small children. As a result it can be pretty crowded.

But the scenery in the canyon is beautiful, so if you do not mind the extra company, it is still worth giving it a try! As you can tell from the video…

Hiking Zion & Bryce Canyon will show you 59 great trails of various difficulties-from day hikes to backcountry treks.
